The Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties was founded in 1951 as a private, not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization by the medical societies of San Bernardino and Riverside counties. The Blood Bank serves 35 medical facilities and receives more than 400 donations daily in order to support 150,000 transfusions annually.
