Feed the Hungry

Agency: Carol's Kitchen

Description:

Carol's Kitchen opened its doors in 1998 as a way to celebrate the life of Carol Ragan. She was killed by a drunk driver in 1996. She was known for her kindness and she always helped out those less fortunate than herself. Carol's Kitchen's mission is to feed anyone who is hungry with fresh, wholesome food.

Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve food from 8am-1:30pm.

Carol's Kitchen operates five days a week:

M: Cabazon Community Center and Catholic Church in Beaumont

T: Banning Community Center

W: Presbyterian Church 

TH: Cabazon Community Center and Catholic Church in Beaumont

F: Banning Community Center

Volunteers age 14 and above can participate unaccompanied. Volunteers age 8 to 13 can participate with a parent or guardian. All volunteers under the age of 18 must have their parent or guardian complete a HOIE Liability and Release form for Minors. For more information and to download the form, Click here.
