Agency: Sowing Seeds for Life

Description: Sowing Seeds for Life is hosting its first Christmas in the Park Celebration. The event will take place at Ganesha Park in the city of Pomona on Saturday, December 13, 2008 from 12 p.m. 5 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of task for the day including set-up, lunch and break-down.

The event is free to the public and will include, lunch and pictures with Santa, a toy giveaway, food giveaway, music entertainment, a car show and community vendors.

Sowing Seeds for Life is 501(c)3 non-profit organization that gives people an opportunity to get access to needs otherwise not available in their present state. We are an agency of Los Angeles Food Bank part of America’s Second Harvest. We help by providing food, clothing donations, and directing them to other services provided in our community.

Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age.
