Agency: Claremont After School Program (CLASP)
Description:
CLASP is a nonprofit organization that serves low-income and "at-risk" elementary school students in grades kindergarten through 6th.
Volunteers provide homework help and basic academic support. Sessions are two hours each (either 3-5pm or 4-6pm), Monday through Thursdays. We will work with YOUR schedule and are flexible to your needs. CLASP meets in five locations that include local churches, residential housing complexes, and one elementary school. The settings are safe and comfortable. Homework help, recreational activities and a healthy snack are provided at each location.
Great opportunity for college application community service credit.
