Description:
HDIT's September projects will be to assist elderly High Desert residents remove weeds from property. The weeds need to be removed due to potential fire hazard.
Come prepared to work hard and have lots of fun!
HDIT is a new team of volunteers that will exist for the purpose of cleaning and renovating properties throughout the Victor Valley in order to encourage better living for the residents in the High Desert.
Volunteers will meet the second Saturday of each month at various property locations around the High Desert as the needs are presented.
This may include:
--Cleaning or renovating private properties of Seniors or disabled citizens;
--Weed abatement or fire prevention projects;
--Cleaning up public parks and trails as necessary; and,
--Engaging in weed, litter, and graffiti removal at various locations.
All supplies will be provided to volunteers.
Come dressed appropriately and bring sunscreen! Drinking water will be provided.

Project requirements:
All volunteers will be required to sign a waiver on the day of the project. All volunteers under 18 years of age will be required to have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
