Agency: Hands On Inland Empire (a program of Inland Empire United Way)
Description:
Looking to learn a new skill and meet new people? If so, Knit for Need is perfect for you! Once a week we gather a group of volunteers to knit socks, hats, and blankets for local homeless shelters and hospitals. Don’t know how to knit? No worries, we can teach you! This project is open to all skills levels. So all you have to do is show up, and bring your own practice yarn and a pair of needles.
Volunteers are highly encouraged to bring their own practice yarn and needles. This allows you to continue to practice and work on your knitting projects aside from the volunteer hours.
