Looking to learn a new skill and meet new people? If so, Knit for Need is perfect for you! We gather a group of volunteers to knit socks, hats, and blankets for local homeless and domestic abuse shelters. Don’t know how to knit? No worries, we can teach you! This project is open to all skills levels. So all you have to do is show up with your own practice yarn and a pair of needles. This allows you to continue to practice and work on your knitting projects aside from the volunteer hours. All volunteers under the age of 18 must have their parent or guardian complete a HOIE Liability and Release form for Minors. For more information and to download the form, Click here.
